PsychArchives is a repository for publishing digital research objects, e.g. preregistrations, but also data, code, or preprints. The platform PreReg in Psychology provides information on preregistration of studies as well as templates for creating preregistrations.

On PreReg in Psychology, select the Repository Track to preregister your study. Your submission will be reviewed regarding formal requirements (e.g., file format) and if it complies, accepted. This formal review usually takes no longer than three business days. However, this group is usually too large to study all its members, which is why only a part of it (= sample) can be examined. It is therefore important that the sample is a sufficiently good representation of the total. However, this is often a difficult task.

With your participation, you can increase the representativeness of the sample and thus the accuracy and robustness of the results from psychological studies.

In addition, you will also gain insights into current psychological research, such as what questions and topics are being investigated. We encourage researchers to inform participants about the results of the study following their participation or after all data have been analyzed. In this way, we aim to make the research process transparent and comprehensible at all stages, in line with good scientific practice.

</details>

<details>
Who can participate in studies?

In general, any person can participate in the studies.
